Chapter Eleven

Conner

The nights came and went with much the same; kisses and heated moments but nothing going further. Yet, we stayed together as a couple, doing our daily routine.

It was a new day, and it started with a big breakfast as usual, with the addition of fresh bacon for my new mate. Mila had gone out jogging and shopping before I woke. When I did, I nearly panicked until I saw the friendly note telling me she’d be back later.

Conner,

I’m out shopping so, please don’t hunt me down. I’d like some space while I’m spending your money. Haven’t been shopping or jogging for a while, being injured and all. Be back in a few hours.

I felt my head turn hot; I wanted to be with my mate. Adjusting to loneliness wasn’t something I was willing to do again.

“Damn it, Mila. Go and leave me behind for a whole damn day, why don’t you?”

The regular pre-mate routine resumed. Shower, eat, check my bank, regular responsibility stuff. I sat in my condo for most of the day and thought about what my mate was doing now.

Was she ok? Does she know how to get back? What if there are more rival wolves?

Curiosity and anticipation soon turned into worry.

“Damnit, get back home, Mila. You don’t even know this city that well. You should’ve woke me up!”

Three more painful hours later, I woke on the couch to the door being opened.

Huh? --Mila? Woman? What the hell?

“Oh, settle down, worrywart. I’m not that helpless. At least not anymore!”

She set down her bags and showed me her new clothes and knickknacks. She had bought fresh organic fruits and vegetables and some skimpy specials for the bedroom.

“Don’t do that again without waking me up. I was worried.”

She put her hands on my shoulders and leaned in. “I know. I wanted to rub salt in that wound of yours. Do you still want me?” She pouted.

“Fuck yeah. You, me, bedroom, now.”

She pulled out of my grabbing hands. “Hold on, I’ve got special clothes just for you to see!”

“Forget that! I’m going to want you butt ass naked!”

“Oh, Conner, your alpha personality really shows through. Tsk tsk. I’m still going to pretty myself up.”

I gave in and waited patiently for my mate to come out of the bathroom, all done up.

“Damn it, I’m hard as hell. But I’ve gotta take it slow. Don’t just ram the hell outta her, ok? Reminder to self, don’t slam fuck her. She’s delicate and so creamy looking. Her soft demeanor -agh!- not helping!”

A few minutes later, Mila emerged from the bathroom. She had on seductive hues of red and black on. From the corset down to the fishnet stockings, Mila had it done correctly. Red lipstick and perfume heightened the moment. She was the most stunning thing I had ever seen.

Oh Shit, she looks damn near edible! I cursed to myself, trying to keep my animalistic sex urges at bay for a calm earthy lovemaking session.

“By the time we’re done, we’re going to have twins!” I chimed, slapping my hands together and pointing to my protruding erection.
